Fresher is Fun! Retail Project

S.D. Specialty Producers Association received a Specialty Crop Block Grant in 2021 to support retailers who sell local specialty crops and value added products from three or more producers. The group worked with a marketing firm to develop a campaign to promote purchasing local and in season products.

The campaign materials were made available in Sept. 2024 for retailers as well as producers to encourage customers to fill their cart with an array of fresh and exciting food choices that also support South Dakota farmers. Campaign tools can be personalizes with your own logos, web links, and text. Access the resource here:
