Apprenticeships & Your Farm: Hear from the S.D. Department of Labor (DOL) and specialty crop business owners to learn how they used apprenticeship programs to fill a labor need, while also offering a valuable training program for employees during SDSPA’s upcoming webinar on Wed., Aug. 16th, at noon mountain/ 1 pm central.
We will hear from the DOL on their apprenticeship program, and from Venner Family Farm & Bear Butte Gardens, both of which have worked with DOL on their farm.
We’ll also hear from Cherry Rock Farms on how they train employees (and potential future growers) through their apprenticeship program. There will also be Q&A Time, so bring your questions! Follow the Facebook event page to learn more.
