The class was designed to help business owners better connect with their customers digitally. Participants ranged, including produce and meat producers, entrepreneurs and a school administrator.

Topics discussed related to a business’s online presence, utilizing different platforms, managing social media, email marketing, creating videos and content and more.

“It was very good to have an overview again of digital media and social media as both change a lot in a couple years.  I definitely had some takeaway items,” Michelle Grosek, Bear Butte Gardens, said.

The class provided time for Q & A on items relevant to participants’ businesses. Participants strongly agreed that they feel more comfortable with email marketing methods, that ideas they learned will allow them to increase sales, and that the course was beneficial in helping them develop a business plan within their budget.

Participants also enjoyed calzones made by Travis Bartels of Boulder Canyon Country Club.
