Field Day: Getting Support for Regenerative, Organic Urban Ag Production

This indoor field day will highlight how NRCS EQIP cost-share assistance supports organic and transitioning vegetable farmers, using the Pulse of Life Genesis Vegetable Garden project with Prairiesun Organics as a case study in moving from a conventional corn–soybean rotation to a regenerative organic system.
Participants will learn about key EQIP conservation practices in an urban agriculture setting and how the project links to a faith-based food distribution program with USDA RFSI-funded vegetable processing equipment managed by SD DANR.
