Honey and Jam Festival Held at Owl Creek Organics

On August 11th Owl Creek Organics hosted their Honey and Jam Festival as part of the Fresher is Fun Campaign. This campaign supported events at eight retail store in the state promoting the purchasing of South Dakota grown specialty crops.

The festival had a great turn out with fun for everyone complete with a photo booth, a build your own bouquet bar, samples, and more! Everyone was able to sample jam and honey in baked goods, lemonade, and on fresh crepes! Children were able to color, pick stickers and tattoos, and play “pin the bee on the hive”!

The event also had many local vendors for fresh vegetables, cut flowers, books, icecream, ready to bake meals, and wheat. Attendees had a great time learning more about jam, honey, and other local products while sampling too!
