S.D Farmers Market Coalition Meeting- April 2023

The S.D. Farmers Market Coalition meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 9 A.M. MT/10 A.M. CT.
This sub-chapter of the S.D. Specialty Producers Association, includes market managers, board members and vendors. Hosted by the SDFMC leadership, SDSU Extension and SDSPA.
The meeting will focus on MarketLink. Whitney Butler is a Regional Representative with MarketLink, which is a USDA-funded grant program that helps farmers & farmers markets accept SNAP/EBT cards. She’ll share the basic steps in the MarketLink grant process, including getting authorized by the USDA to accept SNAP/EBT cards and information on the free SNAP/EBT card reader equipment provided by the grant.
