Listening Session: Building Resilience in South Dakota Local Food System

Members of the S.D. Local Foods Coalition recently received a grant from the USDA to better understand ways to build resilience in the local food system in South Dakota. They seek your input to better understand the challenges, and opportunities facing producers and consumers of local foods.  Under the leadership of Dr. Jennifer Zavaleta Cheek, Dr. Kristine Lang, and Blake Pulse, a graduate student, are hosting a listening session. These listening sessions last approximately 2 hours where participants will be guided through a series of activities and questions about the local food system. Your perspective will help inform research efforts and help set priorities for the SD Local Food Coalition. RSVP by October 11th.
