Farmer Meet and Greet at Country Apple Orchard

Country Apple Orchard’s themed “Fittest on the Farm” Fall Festival event will take place on Fri., Sept. 19 from 4 to 8 p.m., Sat. the 20th from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m., and Sun., the 21st 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. 

Part of being the fittest on the farm is fueling your body! S.D. Specialty Producers and Country Apple Orchard will host a Farmer Meet & Greet that will take place on Sun., Sept. 21st on the grass area near the pumpkin display, from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. where attendees can purchase local produce and value added products, play “Farmer Bingo” to win prizes, all while connecting with their local farmers to learn more about options to source local produce and the benefits of buying local!

The weekend-long festival will have over 20 attractions including food trucks, an area with a zipline, train ride, corn bin, and tractor rides to go apple and pumpkin picking. In addition to their Fall Festival attractions, Saturday the “The Fittest on the Farm” competition will take place near the pumpkin patch with powerlifting and a kids tractor pull.
