Cut Flower & Pumpkin Field Day Tour

AN IMPORTANT NOTE: Eden Acres will be the ONLY tour stop as the other two locations have recently sustained weather damage and are unable to host us. Eden Acres also sustained a bit of storm damage this week, but Mindy is still willing to host us! We’ll all learn from the challenges that SD weather can pose; many thanks to Mindy for being such a gracious host!
UPDATED SCHEDULE:
- 9:00 AM Check-in at Eden Acres
- 9:15 AM Welcome by Malisa Niles, Kristine Lang, and Mindy Eden
- 9:30-11:00 AM Cut Flower Farm Tour led by Mindy Eden
- 11:00 AM Wrap-up and Enjoy a Picnic Lunch + Networking
- 12:00 PM Event Ends
A few reminders:
- We will provide bottles of water and want you to stay hydrated; please bring/use sunscreen and bug spray.
- Plan to wear shoes that can get muddy during the walking farm tour.
- Lunch will be served at the end of the field day courtesy of SDSU Extension and a local caterer. We have lots of tables, but a limited amount of chairs; please bring your favorite lawn chair or picnic blanket if you can!
