Bringing the Farm to School: Agricultural Producer’s Training- Brookings

Producers of specialty crops & proteins that could be served in a school are encouraged to attend one of the two-day training sessions being offered this winter. Space is limited for the sessions, being held
- Jan. 18-19, 2023 in Brookings and
- Feb. 14-15, 2023 in Rapid City
Watch for registration to open Nov. 20, 2022. The training will cover getting to know school markets, selling to school markets, product development, growing for schools, and planning for action. An overview of the curriculum covered in this course can be found here.
