Time to Grow Together: 2026 SDSPA Membership Renewal is Here

The 2026 membership season for the South Dakota Specialty Producers Association (SDSPA) is officially underway! By now, you should have received a renewal letter and application in your physical mailbox detailing our goals for the coming year.

In 2026, we are focused on helping producers scale up—including technical assistance for organic certification and urban agriculture, as well as guidance in finding vital infrastructure funding—while still continuing to provide quality educational opportunities. Our niche markets are what make South Dakota’s food system resilient, and your membership ensures we have the foundation to keep bridging the gap between local producers and high-value market connections.

While your annual dues support our mission, the true value of SDSPA comes from your active participation. We want to emphasize that getting “on our radar is the best way to maximize your impact; when we look for producers to feature in pilot programs, collaborative projects, or grant-funded initiatives, we look to our active participants first.

Please take a moment to review your mailed application, paying special attention to the “Areas of Involvement” checkboxes so we know how to better serve you. If you haven’t received your letter or prefer to process your renewal online, you can click here to renew your membership today.

Additionally, did you know you can join us for our Annual Meeting on Fri., Feb. 13, 2026, from 12:50-1:30 PM Mountain Time. We will be meeting in person at the DoubleTree by Hilton Rapid City Downtown Convention Center. If you can’t make it in person, you can still join us online—simply register here to join us via Zoom.
