Country Apple Orchard’s Fittest on the Farm Event

On Sept. 21, 2025 S.D. Specialty Producers Association had a table at The Country Apple Orchard’s “Fittest on the Farm” themed Fall Festival. The weekend-long festival had a fittest on the farm competition, pedal pull, apple and raspberry picking, kids attractions, a corn maze, a variety of pumpkins and gourds, and more. 

SDSPA shared with attendees about connecting with their local specialty crop farmers! The booth included coloring pages, a specialty crop scavenger hunt, and build your own specialty crop activity. SDSPA was able to share about their local producer members, directories, programs, and the benefits of local specialty crops to help make you, “the fittest on the farm”.
