Conference Theme: Grow, Nourish, Sustain
- Grow:
The conference began with a focus on growth – not just in terms of crops but also in knowledge, community connections, and the local food movement itself. Session presentations explored innovative agricultural practices, crop diversification, and strategies to support the growth of local farms.
- Nourish:
Nourishment, both for individuals and communities, was at the heart of many discussions. Sessions delved into the nutritional benefits of locally produced foods and explored initiatives that nourish both body and soul. Local food systems were a recurring theme, emphasizing the importance of nourishing our bodies with fresh, local produce.
- Sustain:
Sustainability was a central pillar throughout the conference.
