Our website offers an extensive list of resources for the wide range of specialty agricultural products, as well as resources on business development, grants, food safety and more. Your membership helps support these efforts.

SDSPA offers financial sponsorships to its members in various ways.

We cover the cost for our member’s booth fees and possible travel costs to showcase their farm/business at major state and educational events.

We offer a website development program, farmers market marketing support and discounted or free educational trainings.

Networking & Mentoring

We will take the time to contact each of you annually to gather input about your goals, concerns, and needs as producers and business owners.

Our network of members and industry professionals provide opportunities for connecting with experienced producers and mentors. Members have ample opportunities to learn and network with fellow SDSPA members at workshops, producer tours and other events throughout the year.

A Voice at the Table for Local Foods

We listen to your requests and respond through coordinating educational trainings, seeking grant funds, and sharing requests and needs to industry partners and government agencies.

We provide an outlet for involvement to make change happen by gathering members with similar interests through committee and project work.
