RockValley Gardens Celebrates Local Sweet Corn
Life is sweet- and on August 17th RockValley Gardens celebrated with their Fresher is Fun! Sweet Corn Event. The Fresher is Fun campaign supported events at eight retail store in the state promoting the purchasing of South Dakota grown specialty crops.
During the RockValley Gardens event attendees were greeted with samples of roasted corn, corn muffins, popcorn, cowboy caviar, and corn salsa. The event was complete with yard games, corn filled sensory bins, a photobooth, coloring contest, and shaved ice.
