SDSU & NDSU Conducting High Tunnel Needs Assessment
Do you grow specialty crops in a high tunnel? High tunnel production has greatly expanded in the last decade in the Dakotas and the surrounding region.
South Dakota State University (SDSU) and North Dakota State University (NDSU) received a SARE North Central Professional Development Grant to develop educational programming to benefit high tunnel producers and trainers in the region. SDSU and NDSU are conducting this needs assessment to learn about your business and your most pressing challenges. They are trying to learn how our universities can better support high tunnel production and training in the Northern Great Plains.
This study is anonymous. That means that no one, not even members of the research team, will know that the information you give comes from you. It should take about 10 minutes to complete the survey. If you complete the online survey, you will have the option to enter the drawing for free registration to a high tunnel conference in either Rapid City, SD (for 2023) or Fargo, ND (for 2024).
