Mid-Season Pricing Survey for S.D. Specialty Crops
All producers with direct sales, market managers, vendors, direct to consumer sales, etc. are encouraged to contribute to the mid-season price sharing survey to assist with recording trends in statewide specialty crop pricing. Products will include vegetables, fruit and honey.
The individual entering the data will be entered to win $20 on each round of data collection, as a thank you for their time. In each round of data collection, an individual who submitted data will have their name drawn and they will receive $20. You do not have to be a SDSPA member to be selected as the winner.
Market managers and producers can fill out the online document easily via a computer or mobile device. July 25th- August 8th data can be entered here. For those who prefer to print off a hard copy to record notes, and upload the information after the market, this PDF is available.
Average and ranges of pricing will be posted after each collection period on this SDSPA resource page for markets and vendors to compare prices or get suggestions for pricing common market items.
The 2022 Early Season Pricing Report is now available. In addition, 2021 season’s pricing survey results are also currently listed on this webpage.
We request markets update the document with mid-season pricing by Aug. 8, 2022 and for late season pricing by Sept. 11, 2022.
