SDSPA Represents Producers at AgFest 2022 in Pierre
Jolene Stewart of Stewart’s Aronia Acres gave samples of aronia berries & black currants in juice, muffins, and gummies during AgFest 2022.
On Jan. 25, 2022 the S.D. Specialty Producers Association (SDSPA) participated in AgFest. This annual event takes place in Pierre during the legislative session and provides an opportunity to bring together South Dakota’s private, state and federal agriculture entities to share their information with state legislators, lobbyists, leaders in the industry, and local business people.
SDSPA was represented by two members who were able to share about their products- including samples- with legislators and representatives of other agricultural organizations. Cindy Tolle (Evergreen Ranching) and Jeff & Jolene Stewart (Stewart’s Aronia Acres) gave samples of aronia berries & black currants as juice, muffins, and gummies while making contacts with other producers, gaining new ideas, and sharing their story.
This was the 7th year that SDSPA has hosted a booth to feature members’ products and South Dakota’s specialty agriculture industry.
